Pursuant to Article 26 of the Singapore Gujarati Society (SGS) Constitution, the 71th Annual General Meeting of the Society will be held as follows: -

AGENDA FOR THE 71st ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
1. To receive and adopt the Minutes of the 70th AGM held on 27th April 2025.
2. Singapore Gujarati Society (SGS) Agenda Items.
a. To receive the President’s and Secretary’s Annual Report [2025] duly approved by the MC.
b. To receive and adopt the Audited Accounts of SGS for the financial year ending 31st December 2025.

Singapore Gujarati Hindu Endowment Trust (SGHET) Agenda Items.
a. To receive and adopt the Annual Report [2025] from the Trustees of SGHET.
b. To receive and adopt the Audited Accounts of SGHET for the financial year ending 31st December 2025.
4. To transact any business arising out of the agenda and any other matters, written Notice of which should be received by the Secretary not less than five (5) days before the date of the AGM.
5. To consider any resolution of which Notice in writing has been received by the Secretary not less than fourteen (14) days before the date of the AGM.
6. To elect the President and Ten other Members of the Management Committee for the term 2026 - 2028.
Each nomination form duly signed by a proposer, a seconder and the nominee to reach the Secretary at least seven (7) days before the date of the AGM (i.e., not later than 12:00pm Sunday, 19th April 2026 – when all nominations shall close.
7. To elect and/or appoint: (i) Three (3) Internal Auditors and (ii) An External Auditor – both for the Society and SGHET. (Please note: External Auditors M/s Everest Assurance PAC have offered themselves for re-appointment).
Members are sincerely requested to be on time. If a quorum is not formed within half an hour, the adjourned meeting will be held at the same place at 10.30 a.m. Number of Members then present shall form a Quorum.
Please note that only Life Members, Honorary Members, Ordinary Members and Spouse Ordinary Members whose membership fees received by us before 31st March 2026 as per constitution rule will be eligible to vote.
