Navratri has always been more than just an event for us at SGS – it is a celebration of tradition, culture, and togetherness. It is the time when our community comes alive with joy, music, and dance, and when friends from other communities eagerly join us to experience the magic we create. Every year, we strive to make it better, and this year will be no different in spirit.

While circumstances mean we will gather at a smaller venue this time, the impact will remain just as powerful. The ambience, the energy, and the music will all be at their very best – because when our SGS family comes together, Navratri can only be extraordinary.

We’re sharing this early so you can block your dates and plan ahead.

And as always, we invite our talented members to make the event even more vibrant with dance performances.

Performance Registration Details:

• Participation is open to all SGS Members. Based on registrations, the Performance Team and MC will decide on the final line-up.
• We require about 3 performances across the three days, with a maximum of 14 performers per group.
• As far as possible, the MC would prefer a group consisting of 100% Members participating in the performance. However, in the event where 100% Member groups are not able to form a full team, such groups are allowed to invite their non- member friends to join in the dance group. However, Members’ representation in such groups must form minimum 70% of Troupe size and only maximum 30% Non-members participation in Troupe size will be permitted.
• Songs must be traditional Indian and suitable for Navratri. Please share your song choice with Team SGS to avoid duplication.
• Participants will enjoy free entry on their performance day.
• MC may request to view practice sessions or hold auditions if required. Their decision will be final.
• Performance days will be allocated by a fair draw of lots.
